You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
You are your child’s first teacher in faith. We exist to support you—not replace you.
Together, we help your child:
Know Jesus personally
Build strong, faith-filled friendships
Grow in confidence and purpose
A Clear Path for Lifelong Faith
Faith isn’t formed in a single year—it’s built over time.
Our formation pathway is designed to meet your child where they are and guide them step by step.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
The early years are a unique time of wonder and openness to God. In the peaceful environment of the Atrium, children encounter Jesus through Scripture, prayer, and the liturgy using the Montessori-inspired approach of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS).
CGS also provides the foundation for children preparing to receive First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Ages 3–5: Little Buds offers a gentle introduction to the Catholic faith for our youngest children through stories, songs, crafts, prayer, and play. Designed for children and their parents, Little Buds helps children discover God’s love while beginning to grow in faith and community.

Growing as Joyful Disciples
As children continue growing in faith, our ministries help them encounter Jesus, build lasting friendships, and live the Catholic faith with joy.
Grade 2+: Children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion continue their journey through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, alongside Saturday Parent Formation and regular family participation in Sunday Mass.
Grades 3–5: Our Elementary Youth Group meets once each month for prayer, games, community, and engaging Catholic formation. Parents continue growing through Saturday Parent Formation, while families receive simple Faith at Home Guides with prayer and conversation prompts.
Girls in Grades 1–5: Little Flowers is a Catholic girls' ministry inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her Little Way. Through prayer, crafts, games, the lives of the saints, and learning about Christian virtues, girls are encouraged to grow in friendship with Jesus and discover that holiness can be found in the small things of everyday life. Little Buds, for girls ages 3–5 and their parents, offers a gentle introduction to the Catholic faith and prepares our youngest girls for Little Flowers.

Kairos
Middle school is a time when young people begin asking bigger questions about life and faith. Kairos is a place where they are known, encouraged, and challenged to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Meeting in five seasons throughout the year, each season includes Wednesday evening gatherings and concludes with a special Friday night experience filled with prayer, community, engaging teaching, games, and small groups.
-
Metanoia
High school is when faith becomes personal. Metanoia invites teens into a deeper relationship with Jesus through authentic friendships, honest conversations, prayer, and discipleship.
Like Kairos, Metanoia follows five seasons throughout the year, with Wednesday evening gatherings and a Friday night experience that help teens continue growing in faith and community.
Whether a teen is just beginning their faith journey or desires to go deeper, there is a place for them here.
-
Ready to Say "Yes"
Confirmation is not simply based on age—it's a response to God's invitation. Our readiness model helps teens discern when they are prepared to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and embrace the mission of Christian discipleship.
Confirmation preparation builds upon participation in Kairos or Metanoia and includes family formation, Confirmation-specific sessions, worship, retreat experiences, and a process of discernment alongside parents and parish leaders.

Parents are the first and most important educators of their children in the faith. Parent Formation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton helps parents grow closer to Jesus while gaining practical tools to pray, talk about the faith, and live the Catholic faith as a family.
These gatherings are an opportunity to pray, learn, build community, and become more confident in leading your children toward Christ. Parent Formation is part of the formation experience for several of our youth and sacramental programs and is also open to any parish parent who wants to grow in faith.
